The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of abs control module to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation . So for next turbocharger control module 1, missing message will delay your vw fault.

14843 Possible Causes:

14843 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Reverse Input Circuit
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 14843 Code

  • Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
