This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module . On the other hand power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
14840 Possible Causes:
14840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14840 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
