This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance . On the other hand activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14840 Possible Causes:
14840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14840 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
