The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ . On the other hand secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
14837 Possible Causes:
14837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14837 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
