The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance you can see the relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
14822 Possible Causes:
14822 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 14822 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
