Diagnosing engine bar with engine torque reduction, fault causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14820 Possible Causes:
14820 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14820 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
