14817 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle actuator control system, forced limited power retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit and control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14817 Possible Causes:
14817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14817 Code
- Inspect all the connections idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
