This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system camshaft position signal output, circuit high or exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open is the final reason of the code. |

14812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
