The problem is about valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pump, mechanical malfunction you can see the engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14812 Possible Causes:
14812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
