The problem is about motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean or change secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
148 Possible Causes:
148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 148 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
