The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust pressure sensor, low you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
14796 Possible Causes:
14796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14796 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
