14790 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly and shift lock, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14790 Possible Causes:
14790 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 14790 Code
- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
