This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger over-boost condition mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ also diesel particulate filter regeneration frequency will delay your vw fault. |
14784 Possible Causes:
14784 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14784 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
