This something to do with the intake camshaft timing kick down switch malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
14779 Possible Causes:
14779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14779 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
