The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed clutch torque, adaptation at limit and secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14778 Possible Causes:
14778 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14778 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
