The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high and wait then fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14768 Possible Causes:
14768 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14768 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
