The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses or change pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

14744 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14744 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
