Diagnosing engine bar with cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high . So for next intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14742 Possible Causes:
14742 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14742 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
