This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger over-boost condition mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition switch accessory position, circuit low and exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14728 Possible Causes:
14728 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14728 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
