Accumulated in electronic control units so turbocharger control module, faulty retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance or manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load is the final reason of the code. |
14720 Possible Causes:
14720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14720 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
