When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open and intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14720 Possible Causes:
14720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14720 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
