This something to do with the intake camshaft timing direct ozone reduction catalyst, efficiency below threshold to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ also ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
14720 Possible Causes:
14720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 14720 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
