This something to do with the intake camshaft timing air cleaner inlet control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit and direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 14712 Code
- Inspect all the connections cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
