The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor camshaft position signal output, circuit low or change transmission temperature control is the final reason of the code. |
14708 Possible Causes:
14708 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14708 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
