Diameter in engine data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel supply heater, control circuit / open also control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14698 Possible Causes:
14698 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14698 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
