The problem is about post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14697 Possible Causes:
14697 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14697 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
