Staring in engine engine torque reduction, open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained and wait then o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
14688 Possible Causes:
14688 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14688 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b4 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
