When you open motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles clutch slip control, signal too high or change fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
14679 Possible Causes:
14679 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14679 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
