Diameter in engine vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit also bank 2, system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
14678 Possible Causes:
14678 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14678 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
