This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data-bus powertrain, implausible message from brake controller and pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
14663 Possible Causes:
14663 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 14663 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
