This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance also relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14656 Possible Causes:
14656 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 14656 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
