The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault event data recorder request, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open also activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
14648 Possible Causes:
14648 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 14648 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
