When you open throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high you can see the catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
14640 Possible Causes:
14640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14640 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
