14631 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more internal control module, malfunction . On the other hand control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors is the final reason of the code. |
14631 Possible Causes:
14631 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14631 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
