This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reset-resistant limp-mode active mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground or automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
14618 Possible Causes:
14618 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14618 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
