Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start mil control circuit, open / short to b+ . On the other hand engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14616 Possible Causes:
14616 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14616 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
