This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel level sensor 2, circuit intermittent or change tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
14606 Possible Causes:
14606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 14606 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
