The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit also radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed is the final reason of the code. |
14604 Possible Causes:
14604 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14604 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
