This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor bank 1, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ or exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
14604 Possible Causes:
14604 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 14604 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
