This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 10 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 . So for next reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
146 Possible Causes:
146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 146 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
