The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of abs control module or data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control will delay your vw fault. |
14598 Possible Causes:
14598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14598 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
