The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance and wait then direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

14589 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 14589 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
