This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low and wait then oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
14583 Possible Causes:
14583 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14583 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
