Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1, system too rich off idle . On the other hand bank 1, system too lean off idle will delay your vw fault. |
14557 Possible Causes:
14557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 14557 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger 2 control module (j725), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
