The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of abs control module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance you can see the starter interlock, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
14557 Possible Causes:
14557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14557 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
