14555 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake air heater "a", circuit and wait then a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
14555 Possible Causes:
14555 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 14555 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
