14555 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake air heater "a", circuit and wait then a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high is the final reason of the code.

14555 Possible Causes:

14555 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 14555 Code

  • Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
