Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission range display, circuit short to b+ or change intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
14549 Possible Causes:
14549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14549 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
