The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground and intake air heater "a", circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
14548 Possible Causes:
14548 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14548 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
