When you open bank 2, system too lean at idle the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground . So for next linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
14540 Possible Causes:
14540 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
