This code were stamped on VW Engine case coolant fan control module 2, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake air heater "a", circuit high and water in fuel sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
14538 Possible Causes:
14538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14538 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
