This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 6 above knock threshold run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14538 Possible Causes:
14538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14538 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
