Staring in engine throttle actuator control system, forced idle causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical or change control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
14522 Possible Causes:
14522 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 14522 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
