Staring in engine please check dtc memory of brake system ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance you can see the ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
14518 Possible Causes:
14518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14518 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
