Accumulated in electronic control units so relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so starter interlock, circuit short to b+ and exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption is the final reason of the code. |
14517 Possible Causes:
14517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14517 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
