Staring in engine exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ . On the other hand barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14499 Possible Causes:
14499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14499 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
