14498 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control also starter interlock, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
14498 Possible Causes:
14498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14498 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
