When you open reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high and angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
14494 Possible Causes:
14494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14494 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
